Student Expectations
We Expect Students To:

Show respect toward others and self.

Show respect toward all property.

Check-in with staff before going to any activities.

Remember that school rules do not end at 3:45pm.

Consume foods/drinks in designated areas only.

Have only one person in the restroom at a time.

Obtain permission to use the ASP cell phone. These phones are provided for students to call parent/guardians for pick-up purposes or emergency situations only.

Check out with staff at all times.

Demonstrate the YMCA values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility.

We Expect Students Not To:
-
Be in hallways without a pass or an adult escort.

Enter any non-designated ASP area(s) within the property.

Bring or use personal cell phones or any other electronic devices without prior approval by Site Director.

Be discourteous or rude to a fellow ASP member, staff, or volunteer.

Bully or take unfair advantage of any individual or group.
-
Use verbal, physical, or visual harassment of another ASP member, staff, or volunteer.

Possess, use, or be under the influence of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs.
-
Display actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.
-
Bring dangerous or unauthorized materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons , or other similar items.

Important Reminders:
There is no food or drink allowed on the ASP buses. All riders must obey bus rules. Rule violators will be suspended from the bus and ASP. Because bus routes vary daily, drop off times will also vary.
Participation in the ASP is an earned privilege.
Students who choose not to comply with the rules will lose this privilege.
